How Páme Transport collects, uses and protects the personal information you give us.

Who we are
Páme Transport (ABN 54 167 583 473) is a freight and logistics business operating from 2/839 Beaudesert Rd, Archerfield QLD 4108 and Unit 10/1 Contaplas St, Arndell Park NSW 2148. In this policy, "we" and "us" means Páme Transport.
We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
Through this website we collect only what we need to quote and move freight:
- Your name, business name, email address and phone number
- Pickup and delivery addresses, including the receiver's contact details when you book
- Details of the freight — description, quantity, weight, dimensions and any special instructions
- Anything else you choose to write in a message field
We don't ask for payment card details through this website, and we don't collect sensitive information such as health or financial records.
How we use it
- To prepare and send you a quote
- To create and manage a consignment, and to arrange pickup and delivery
- To keep you updated on your freight and provide proof of delivery
- To invoice you and keep the business records we're required to keep
- To answer questions you send us
We don't sell your information, and we don't send marketing emails unless you've asked us to.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only where it's needed to do the job:
- The receiver of the freight, and the driver delivering it
- Sub-contracted carriers, where a leg of the job is carried by another operator
- TransVirtual, the transport management system we use to raise and track consignments
- EmailJS, which delivers website enquiry forms to our inbox
- Our accountants, insurers and professional advisers, where relevant
- Anyone we're legally required to disclose it to
Third-party services on this site
This site embeds Google Maps to show our depot locations. Loading those maps sends information — including your IP address — to Google, under Google's own privacy policy. Enquiry forms are delivered through EmailJS, and bookings are sent to TransVirtual.
How long we keep it
We keep consignment and customer records for as long as we need them to run the business and to meet our tax, insurance and transport record-keeping obligations, then we delete or de-identify them.

Keeping it secure
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, including access controls on our systems and limiting who in the business can see customer records. No system is perfectly secure, but if a data breach were ever likely to cause serious harm, we'd notify you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner as required.
Accessing or correcting your information
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we're not required to keep it. Email info@pametransport.com.au or call 1300 452 411 and we'll get back to you.
Complaints
If you think we've mishandled your personal information, contact us first at info@pametransport.com.au and we'll look into it. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
